Nissan launched, in India, its suite of connectivity services called Nissan Connect. You get access to a host of convenience, navigation and safety features, accessible via a smartphone app that’s on Android, iOS and Windows platforms for Nissan customers.
You get access to features such as service booking alert, document wallet, fuel log and service history. You can also locate nearby fuel stations, Nissan dealerships, service stations and book car services in advance. You can even set a speed alert, where customers can activate curfew, max speed, and boundary alerts if set limits are exceeded. Nissan is also offering roadside assistance as part of this initiative.
“The emergence of Internet of Things (IoT) is shifting gears in the automotive industry. With Nissan Connect, we aim to provide an effortless driving experience integrated with our customers’ connected lifestyle while maintaining data security,” said Krishnan Sundararajan, managing director, Renault Nissan Technology Business Centre India.
