Ducati Scrambler

Ducati India has launched their all-new Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Kochi. The Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer also has a dedicated line of accessories and apparel.

Power source for the Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer is a 803cc twin-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine benefited with fuel injection technology. The Desmodue power unit features black-trimmed covers and machined cooling fins. It meets the Euro 4 emission norms, and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The power and torque figures of this motor stand at 73bhp at 8,250rpm and 67Nm at 5,750rpm respectively.

The new Ducati bike rides on cast aluminium 17-inch wheels shod with 120/70 ZR 17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear Pirelli DIABLO ROSSO II tyres. The motorcycle has a Brembo braking system with Bosch 9.1 MP ABS (anti-lock braking system) with a pressure sensor. What further enhances its braking performance is the radial-type front brake. Suspension duties on the bike are taken care of by tubular steel trellis frame and progressive linkage with pre-load adjustable monoshock units.

Ducati claims that the Scrambler Cafe Racer has a perfect blend of the Scrambler brand’s design language and a sporty riding position. Visually, the bike looks quite aggressive with features such as rear-view mirror mounted aluminium clip-on handlebars, black anodized aluminium cover, Termignoni exhaust with dual tailpipes and a dedicated “cafe racer” seat featuring a cover for the passenger section.

Up front, the Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer features headlamp with glass lens, LED light-guide and painted fairing, LED rear lights with diffusion light, sports styling front mudguard. The bike also gets steel tank with interchangeable aluminium side panels, machine finished aluminium belt covers, LCD instruments with interchangeable aluminium cover and under seat storage compartment with USB socket.

It was a random swirl that brought me into Automobiles. This is what i say when people ask me. In person, i’d rather talk to you about anything other than cars, preferably food, places, history, culture or animals. I hate people, and love to stay in my own space. I have a pet, Eva, and i can bring up her at least twice in any conversation. Rest, i have little to no filter.
